This was one of the final assignments for CISC 124 Intro to Computing Science II. This assignment required me to build on a simple base game developed in previous assignments where squares would bounce within a frame and would disappear when clicked.
I was given free rein to add as I pleased, but was required to add a certain list of features. I was encouraged to add features that added to the game (ie. don't create another game entirely).
Lasers vs. Asteroids is the name I gave to the game I developed for this assignment. It was built using Java and the Swing toolkit. I added space-themed visuals, a point system, and a pause system, among other things.
This version of the game was voted second-best in class.
